Single Women Prayer Group

Meetings will be the first and third Wednesday of each month. This recurring monthly prayer time hopes to unite single women in our church, providing a supportive environment to pray together in this season of singleness. Most of the communication will be handled through GroupMe. Contact Lauren Gorman to be added to the GroupMe app for additional hangout opportunities and meeting times.

Weekly Sunday Equipping Prayer

Prayer is powerful. It encourages our hearts, strengthens our faith, and draws us closer to one another. Each week during the Equipping Hour, you're invited to a time of guided prayer—whether you're carrying burdens, seeking direction, or simply wanting to rest in God's presence alongside others. Pray for our church, our nation, our city, and our world. Open to all.

Grace Groups Interest

Grace Groups are life-on-life discipleship groups that provide an intentional pathway for deeper spiritual development beyond a typical community group. There is a one-year commitment but many groups choose to meet indefinitely to continue growing together. Participants can share struggles and celebrate victories with those who understand their unique challenges as men or women following Jesus. Groups study God's Word together and pray, connecting Scripture to real life issues. Meeting in gender-specific groups of 5-6 people creates a safe, vulnerable space for open discussion and mutual encouragement. Reach out to Jenna with any questions.

Christianity Explored

Curious about Christianity or know someone who is? An informal dinner group with 8-15 people will discuss life's big questions and the Christian faith. It’s a laid-back, informal setting that meets for eight weeks and considers the questions you have about Christianity and the person of Jesus. These groups with great food, drink, and conversation will begin the week of Sep 29. We will prioritize Wednesday or Thursday night based on your availability. If you, or a friend, is interested and would like to learn more, please join the group or email CEG@atlantawestside.org. We'll be back in touch once we hear from you!

Wednesdays in the Word

Wednesdays in the WordCome walk with us on Wednesday mornings as we dig into God’s Word and cultivate meaningful relationships. Together, we’ll slow down, dig into Scripture and grow deeper in faith as we pursue the Lord through Scripture and prayer. This semester we will study the Fruit of the Spirit, exploring multiple passages from both the Old and New Testaments, seeking to grow in the likeness of Christ and reflect His fruit in our daily lives. The cost of the book is included with the registration. The Westside Kids staff will be providing a Fruit of the Spirit curriculum for kids ages 0-5. Childcare is $5/week per child.
