Passage

Luke 24:36-49

Sermon Summary

Luke 24:36–49 emphasizes how Jesus’ unexpected, bodily resurrection appearance filled the disciples with disbelief from overwhelming joy—it seemed too good to be true, yet it was true. Jesus offered unequivocal evidence of His resurrection and then commissioned His followers with a universal mission: to proclaim repentance and forgiveness to all nations, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Believers today are invited to live in that same peace, confidence, and calling.
