Passage

Nahum 1:1-15, 3:19

Sermon Summary

The prophet Nahum spoke during a time when the Southern Kingdom, Judah, faced the overwhelming evil of the Assyrian Empire. In the midst of this, he declared that God sees their suffering and will ultimately judge and destroy evil. Nahum’s promise points to our hope in Christ, which will be fully realized at His return. As we face evil—both within our own hearts and in the world—we wait in hope, praying and longing for Him to come again.
