Anne grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in business, she served on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ (now Cru) at Vanderbilt. She married Walter in 1995; Abigail was born in 1996, and Emily in 1999. As a young mother she studied counseling at Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia, and has been ministering alongside Walter since moving to Atlanta in 2002.

Anne has served in multiple roles at Westside, most recently overseeing discipleship. Anne enjoys helping people grow as disciples of Christ by engaging Scripture with their hearts and minds. She is passionate about cultivating this growth in the context of relationships, connecting the story of Scripture with the stories that God is writing in each of our lives. Anne also serves as a Curriculum Consultant for Parakaleo, an international ministry to church planting spouses.
